The wine

Comte de Vaugelas is a wine that is easy to drink, round, with a hint of freshness, and with around 12 degrees of alcohol. The care taken daily since the September 2022 harvest is currently bringing out the full scents of its red fruits aromas. This "wine of balance and complementarity" should be served between 14°C and 16°C or at "room temperature." It offers both the passive forces (Yin) and the active forces (Yang) of life in the same nectar. It should be stored between 12°C and 14°C.

“Round with a hint of freshness”

It has a deep ruby color with purple reflections. Its nose is distinctive, clean, intense and explosive, with aromas of ripe red and black fruits such as blackcurrant and raspberry, spicy notes of pepper complete the bouquet. On the palate, the attack is supple, the material is lively, powerful but very round and greedy with a very beautiful aromatic persistence.

Food pairing

Château Comte de Vaugelas should be ideally kept for a maximum of five years. It is a wine to drink "young," between 2 and 5 years. It is paired at its best with red meats, game and poultry, both in sauce and on the spit.
